Trailer Mode

If your Model 3 or Model Y does not have Trailer Mode, you will not be able to tow anything with your vehicle. One solution is to pay for the expensive Tow Package offered by Tesla, which, if in stock, includes the Trailer Mode feature. Your other option is to have a tow hitch installed by a reputable company of your choosing, and then have us activate Trailer Mode for you.

The Finer Details

It's important to note that we are not affiliated with Tesla, and that the "Tesla" name, along with "Model 3", "Model Y" and other material, belong to "Tesla, Inc.". We are an independent service provider offering support and features for your Tesla vehicle.

During your appointment, you will not be able to drive your vehicle, much like you can't drive it during a normal update process. Your vehicle must remain parked and unoccupied, but you can access it to retrieve personal possessions, for example.

You must read the owner's manual for your vehicle, which you can find here, and familiarise yourself with the "Towing and Accessories" section. This section explains how to safely use Trailer Mode with your vehicle.

You must ensure that; any trailer hitch installed meets all legal and regulatory requirements, that you are suitably qualified to tow and never exceed the stated towing capacity of your vehicle.
